Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Commitment to Prevent Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking
Call Handling Services Ltd (‘CHS’) is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking within its business operations and supply chain.
Although CHS does not currently meet the turnover threshold under Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we recognise our ethical responsibility to take appropriate steps to ensure that modern slavery does not occur in any part of our organisation or supplier network.
Our Business
CHS is a UK-based provider of cloud contact centre and telecommunications solutions supporting organisations across the charity, healthcare and public sectors.
Our Commitment
As outlined in our Innovation, Sustainability & Social Responsibility Statement (page 7), CHS:
- does not tolerate any form of forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking or slavery
- expects the same ethical standards from its employees, suppliers and strategic partners
- enforces a corporate culture based on integrity, equality and respect
- is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in all corporate activities
Supply Chain Due Diligence
CHS performs risk assessments on all new suppliers and undertakes periodic reviews to ensure that risks related to unethical labour practices remain controlled.
As detailed on page 10 of our Innovation, Sustainability & Social Responsibility Statement:
- suppliers are risk-graded based on service type and jurisdiction
- higher-risk suppliers may be required to demonstrate appropriate labour and governance controls
- mitigation evidence may be requested before onboarding is completed
Training & Awareness
Relevant personnel involved in procurement, supplier management, and governance activities receive training to recognise potential indicators of unethical or exploitative labour practices.
Reporting Concerns
Employees, contractors, or third parties who have concerns regarding unethical or unsustainable practices are encouraged to report them in accordance with CHS internal governance procedures.
Review & Approval
This statement is approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed at least annually, or sooner where there are material changes to CHS operations, legal obligations, or regulatory requirements.
